These signs have been strategically placed throughout the Cookeville area and when the yellow lights are flashing, an emergency has occurred. Tune your AM radio to 1610 to get the latest travel, evacuation or emergency information. The signs will also be used for weather warnings, Amber Alerts and road closures.
